I am a first-year PhD student at UC Berkeley. My research focuses on learning to make decisions with reinforcement learning.
In 2019-2020, I spent a wonderful year as an AI resident at Google Brain, Montréal. Before that, I was an undergrad at UC Berkeley, where I was fortunate to co-create and teach Stat 140, and do research in deep RL and computational biology.
My first name is pronounced Dibbo or Dih-bo. On legal documentation, my name is Dibya Jyoti Ghosh.
- Our work on a new view of policy gradient methods using operators will be at NeurIPS 2020! (video)
- At ICML 2020, I gave a talk about how representation learning can be used as a tool to prevent divergence in off-policy RL ( ArXiv)
- At NeurIPS 2019, I gave a talk with William Fedus about the MEMENTO observation in the Biological and Artificial RL Workshop.
- I was chosen to receive the CS Major Citation and the Outstanding GSI Award.
